Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) is a community service activity based on Community Empowerment Learning (PPM) and is carried out by students. KKN is an intracurricular activity carried out by students in all study programs with interdisciplinary unity. In its implementation, KKN is carried out in a coordinated manner by an institution or agency and accompanied by a supervising lecturer. The institution that coordinates KKN activities at UNP is the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) through the Center for Community Service and the KKN Implementation Team which is directly responsible to the Chancellor.
This KKN guideline is prepared based on the Decree of the Rector of Padang State University No. 6060/UN35/KP/2018 concerning the Implementation of Community Service at Padang State University. Law No. 20/2003, concerning the National Education System. Decree of the Director General of Higher Education of the Ministry of National Education No. 101/Dikti/Kep/2007, on the KKN-PPM Theme Evaluator Team under the Coordination of Research and Community Service.
