Internships

Internship is a form of experimental education that involves placing individuals in a real work environment under professional guidance for the purpose of learning and skill development. In this context, internship is considered a learning method that allows participants to integrate theory and practice through hands-on experience in the field. The 4-credit internship course must be conducted over a minimum period of 4.8 weeks to 6.4 weeks. Even so, the implementation of the internship will also be determined by the situation, conditions and policies agreed between the internship manager and the agency / company / SME where the internship is carried out.

In accordance with the form of internship activities consisting of professional internships, entrepreneurial internships and regular internships (Real Work Lectures), internships are carried out at agencies / companies / SMEs related to administrative science and state administration science. The agencies concerned can be engaged in public services, government, non-governmental organisations, businesses, medium, small and micro enterprises. The criteria for determining the agency or company can be seen in the internship requirements section.

Students who are allowed to take part in the internship programme of the IAN FIS UNP department, are students who have fulfilled the following requirements:

  1. Registered as active students majoring in IAN FIS UNP in the Academic Section Student Affairs UNP;
  2. Have saved as many as 100 credits and or are at the end of semester V;
  3. Have a minimum Grade Point Average of 2.50;
  4. Proposed by students and known by the Academic Advisor lecturer to the Head of the Department to be selected and registered with the Department Internship Programme Team. IAN FIS UNP;
  5. Have participated in debriefing activities (orientation) carried out by the IAN Internship Programme Team. IAN Internship Programme Team.
  6. Have certain skills as basic capital in carrying out tasks in the field, namely:
    a. Basic computer skills (word, power point, excel, internet etc.);
    b. Basics of office management;
    c. Communication and personality skills.
